The next update for “Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled” will fix load time issues

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is amongst the many games on Nintendo Switch which takes an incredibly long time to load. There are reports that developers are releasing an update for the game following which the load times of the Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will improve significantly.

The new update which will be Version 1.05 will use boost mode of Switch and this will ultimately lower down the load times. The boost mode that the update will use will allow the CPU of the Switch to speed up in-game load times.

Below are the full patch notes:

“Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a live game, and Beenox is continuously working on adjustments and improvements to the racing experience. This patch addresses various quality of life improvements to provide the best ongoing kart racing experience possible. The update is set to go live over the next day for PS4 and Xbox One, and within the following week for Nintendo Switch players”.

The patch that the developers of the game will be coming up with will have different versions on different platforms. For PS4 it will be Version 1.07, while on Xbox One and Switch it will be Version 1.0.1.1 and Version 1.05 respectively.

The above patches will not only improve the loading times on all platforms, but these will also fix the stability issues that players were facing while playing the game online. The patch will also include a fix for various track lap exploits and adjustment of global cooldown for power-ups on all players. Besides this, the patches will also fix the issue in which lobbies were not repopulating as they should once a player quits. Last but not least, the position shuffling issues and rewards at race end will also be fixed with the latest patch.
